Dr. Tamara Wilkerson Dias, the founder of Good Soil Education, is dedicated to redefining personal wealth for families and communities through deliberate conversations and education on financial health. Headquartered in Virginia and having a nationwide reach, Tamara has become a beacon for individuals who are determined to amplify their wealth. Besides her work in financial coaching, Tamara's background includes consulting and training corporate and nonprofit teams on building thriving companies, enhancing workplace culture, and improving employee retention. Her experience spans large consulting firms, startups, and nonprofits, providing her with a unique perspective on financial empowerment.
Many of Tamara's clients face challenges in managing their wealth with confidence, battling fears of making poor investment choices or feeling swamped by the myriad of options before them. Tamara’s coaching goes beyond traditional money management, instilling financial confidence, unraveling the psychology behind financial decisions, and fostering a positive mindset. Her career began in K-12 education and quickly grew when she became the youngest Executive Director in the history of the African American Teaching Fellows, showing strong leadership and a focus on retaining educators. Under her guidance, the program made a noticeable difference, offering over $1.5 million in programming and maintaining an 89% retention rate among the educators it supported.
Recognized for her remarkable contributions, Tamara's accolades include Forbes 30 Under 30, Charlottesville Daily Progress' 10 Under 40, and the prestigious Woman of Excellence Award by the Charlottesville Chamber of Commerce.

Tamara's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Linguistics and a Master of Teaching in Foreign Language Education from the University of Virginia, alongside a Doctor of Education in Leadership from Morgan State University. Tamara also earned a Financial Social Work Certification, equipping her with a unique blend of skills to empower her clients in their financial journeys.
